Bradford Barrington Bayliss is described by anyone who has ever met him as being a complete, total and utter ginger tosser with a geek status so far up his own arse, that whenever he sits down it gives him a pompous colonoscopy.
Bradfords long suffering girlfriend Jayne, is at the end of her tether, fed up with being treated as a fashion accessory and is about to give him the ultimate ultimatum to either get loving or get lost.
On the morning that he is about to travel down to Cornwall to install a new computer system for an expanding company, Bradford receives a letter telling him of his grandmothers demise. He is now the owner of the largest collection of personal historical oddities, one of which is a doorway through time and space.
Whilst enquiring to find out the history of this item, Bradford is forced to leave this world to complete a mission that he cannot afford to fail and being stripped of his prestige has to face survival with nothing more than an ounce of wisdom.
