"Pick him up!" He told two of his men. "No!!!" Mary screamed. "This is your kiss off you little twit!" Alfred smiled. Mary continued to scream. I stared angrily into Alfred's eyes. The men picked me up, swung me back and then I went flying toward the water.

It's the 1930's and 17 year old Moses can't seem to stay out of trouble. After narrowly escaping the law he bumps into a beautiful girl named Mary and falls in love with her immediately but it turns out she's a moll (a gangsters girlfriend) Because of his love he makes a stupid mistake that changes his life forever.

Moses soon finds himself stuck in the future and all alone. Why is he alive, why is he in 2016 and why is he so sick? He soon finds the answers to these questions but they leave him wishing he was just the boy who died.
