After the Shredder attempt to attack New York City. Everything seemed to go back to normal... People still talked about the foot clan that appeared once in a while but nothing that the mysterious vigilantes couldn't solve.
But then a new problem came to the light of New York. Disappearances. Men, women, all races and even children disappear into thin air. Suspensions of the gang Purple Dragons came to the light. A new gang that began to terrorize the city. Also the foot clans were a suspension but the police couldn't do anything. People began to live in fear. It's all they could do against an invisible enemy.

The legend of Shredder and foot clan turned out to be real but there could be hope. The last hope of defence is young mutant turtle, who's life just changed, and not for the better. (Better story inside.) This is AU story. There mutants and humans live together but the relationship between them isn't the best. Leonardo is painted turtle. Raphael is red eared slider. Donatello is razorback musk turtle. Michelangelo is chinese softshell turtle. I write warning here so it won't be a shock: turtles aren't truly brothers and Splinter is only a sensei. It is just "what if" thing. Raph and Leo are step brothers and the story focuses on those two as they deal with family drama. Maria Sanava is a country girl, but unlike her parents, she isn't interested in working on an apple farm her whole life. She wants to do something that makes a mark on the world. (Zootopia anyone?) All her life she has been involved in extracurriculars, top of her classes in everything. She took art, english, math, science, forensic science, physics, philosophy, history, and even a few martial arts. But she couldn't ever figure out what it was that she wanted to do. But that would change when she accompanied her parents and little brother on a trip to New York for a large shipment of apples and a business offer for her parents. The two week trip gets turned around when she meets Leonardo and his family, who just can't figure out what the foot clan is doing, chasing after some random apple girl from the country. Turns out, being good at everything has it's downsides, but this trip is going to change Leo and Maria's view of the world forever. Pain. Fear. That's all I could feel. I was running for my life, as the men in black were running after me. Why were they chasing me? What did I do? I looked down at my stomach. There was a gash with blood dripping to the ground below me. Every time I moved it felt like fire was burning a hole inside me. Tears were springing up in my eyes at the pain of my wound and the fear of these strange men after me. Then a sudden, burning pain, flew threw my right shoulder, sending me falling to the ground. My breathing was labored. A lake of crimson red was surrounding me as the men in black ran to where I laid. All I thought about was Jay. Where is he? I saw one of the men raise their gun at me. And just before they finished me off, they were knocked off their feet by what looked like...ninjas? Everything happened in a blur. The men in black were being flown everywhere. The blackness started to then wrap itself around me into it's dark hold, and the last thing I saw before I was consumed was four, green, ninja reptilian people standing above me. Then I realized that they were...turtle ninjas. (This is my first TMNT fanfic, so don't judge. And they took the movie off of Netflix, so some parts are not going to be accurate. This is set in the 2014 movie. I would advise for you to read this if you are 13 or older because there are mentions of child abuse, kidnap, mild cursing, and violence. But if you are younger than that and you want to read it, then go ahead, but read at your own risk. Anyways, enjoy the story.) I don't own the movie TMNT or the characters.
