After being evicted from society and locked up in a jail cell for years to rot, Elliot Croswell would do anything. He'd jump into shark-infested waters, cut off one of his fingers, anything.
It wasn't his fault that he was in there. He didn't choose to be "infected". He didn't choose to touch a Lapis Albus stone and gain powers or to have his eyes change to some unnatural colour. So when he is finally let free to go to Noireine, a mysterious world he's only heard about, he's ecstatic.
That is, until it turns out to not exactly be much of a paradise, and until he has to do something that he actually, out of anything, wasn't willing to: kill.
