"Go ahead." she said as she let the tears fall. "Ruin me." Mpho is a 16 year old girl who had just moved back to England from Canada. She started schooling in a boarding school with her brother Paul and her best friend Luke. She wanted no drama in her life due to her previous experience in Canada and just wanted to go to school, graduate, and become an actress.She was given a journal on her birthday by her parents and decided to write about everything she thinks, feels and loves. She looks into the eyes of a certain boy who she meets at a pub and her life doesn't stay the same. She finds herself falling harder and harder for this boy as he leaves her thinking on a deeper level with every encounter they have but is this boy really who he says he is?

Once upon a time... That's how all the fairytales begin, right? There's a girl who's mistreated and misunderstood. She meets a guy--probably the most popular guy in school (and hey, why not make him British while we're at it?). He's most likely very handsome and just as rich, and magically seems to understand her. It feels like they've known each other forever when in fact they've actually just met. It's love at first sight, the guy saves the girl from whatever misery she's in, they meet only two or three problems along the way, and then it's happily ever after. But this isn't a fairytale.
