Harespring had stayed behind, as Jaggedbreeze and Flintthorn were too old for the Gatherings, to take care of them. Her apprentice, Sandstone, had went in her place. At the time, there were no queens with nursing kits, and the clan was small, so all the cats went.Boulderjaw and Dewsplash went with the cats, but then doubled back, heading in the direction of camp. Harespring had been surprised to see them, and then Boulderjaw jumped on Flintthorn, snapping his spine with the impact of his strong legs. Jaggedbreeze was in shock, and Dewsplash and Boulderjaw were more than a match for the healer.They then killed Jaggedbreeze.
