“Sleeping Beauty is awake” a deep raspy voice echoes in my ear.
My head snaps to the left and I try to move away. ‘Where am I’ I open my eyes only to be welcomed by darkness. I breathe heavily trying to make sense of everything. That’s when I feel a cold hand caress my face and I try to pull away but he persist.
“Don’t touch me!” I try to bite at the hand but he just laughs. “Who are you? Where am I?” SMACK… my head flies left. My breathing becomes quick and shallow as I try to keep myself for falling out of the chair.
‘I will not show them weakness’ I needed to remind myself if I want to stay safe. But it was becoming hard to stay strong, I can’t see and I just want to go home.
