At age 5, mine and Noah's relationship started with a promise. A promise of eternal friendship in the thoughts that nothing detrimental could ever happen.
No matter what life threw at us, we'd face it together.
By the time we were 7, we had fallen in love. Noah stole roses for me and was set in protecting me from the world.
When we were 9 we got married in my backyard and added onto our previous promise. We promised forever.
Only when I was 13 did I have my first actual kiss. Kissing him, it felt like falling in love and I knew that he was the only person that I could ever want.
Around age 14 I began to see the world as it was for mine had come crashing down around me and not just because I had my first fight with Noah.
At the age of 15 the lines of our promises started to blur and with it my heart broke. Without a word, Noah left, leaving me more broken than before. Our relationship ending with a mistake.
I met Gavin when I was 16. He helped me forget about everything. He helped me move on from Noah. I fell for him.
Now, I'm 17 and my life was beyond perfect. That was of course, up until the day that Noah returned.
