Having wings means getting an almost automatic pass to Empyreal, the city in the sky. However, something dangerous is stirring behind the city gates and it cannot stay contained. Cynth, a teenage winged girl, drawn to discover the truth uses her new high school as a medium to investigate. She soon finds that this is no playing manner and her freedom and her new friend's could be at stake. Before long she goes down a self-destructive path an only friendship and accepting who she really is will bring her back up. For doing so, coming to terms with something she's being denying for so long is just the first step.
