A collection of stories from the life of Toby Lightwood Bane (Herondale Graymark - but more on that later)
If you haven't previously read our fanfic All I Want For Christmas Is You, I recommend reading that first. Or the whole Toby thing is going to be slightly - okay, very - confusing.
These are not in chronological order, but are taken from Toby's life both slightly before and after the events of AIWFCIY.
We could not be more grateful for the immense kindness and support we have received on our Christmas fic. It has been the best Christmas present we could have ever asked for. Thank you for loving Toby, and for expressing that love.
So, from us, from Magnus and Alec, and (of course) from Toby, thank you, and we hope you enjoy this journey into the evolution of Toby Lightwood-Bane.

"Nephilims" That's what they're called, beings that protect the mundane world from demons, beings that are half-angel and half-human. They only have one task, and that's to keep all demons at bay until the time arrives where they can slaughter all demon-kind. Ophelia Morgenstern is a shadowhunter who can't seem to get through a day without making a sarcastic remark. She's undoubtedly one of the best at what she does, but she's also the daughter of the most wanted man in the Shadow World. Alec Lightwood is a brooding shadowhunter with the tendencies of following the rules no matter what. He basically lives his life on the saying, "Sed lex, dura lex." which means "The law is hard, but it is the law." They've known each other for practically their whole lives, and they have always felt a burst of emotions around one another, but with the arrival of the "new" shadowhunter, their whole world flips on its back. With everything that's going on around them, will they gain sight of the feelings they truly have for one another? Jace no longer had a parabatai. Alec is gone. But what happened last night was not the angel's wish. Magnus would do anything to get him back. All I Want For Christmas Is You - a Magnus/Alec fanfiction
(This is a fanfiction based on the book series "The Mortal Instruments" by Cassandra Clare. The characters are hers, and not mine. This book follows on from the City of Lost Souls and therefore contains huge spoilers for the series. Proceed with caution if you haven't finished the series so far. It doesn't have any spoilers for City of Heavenly Fire or any of the Shadowhunter Academy series, so you're safe there if you've not quite caught up yet.) As the countdown to Christmas begins, Magnus and Alec begin preparing for the festive season. Being a Shadowhunter and a High Warlock has its advantages, but with the busyness their roles bring, December provides a welcome break. Little do they know that, owing to fate and Christmas miracles, these 25 days might be the most chaotic of their lives. After all, looking after a child is no easy business. Merry Christmas Malec fans! We wish you a year of happiness and joy. Kisses, hugs and festive fangirl love. xComplete
