Medora Parker is transferred to Alexander Ross High School in the beginning of her senior year. With the stress of loss, a mother's resentment, and the torrents of torment she gets from the other girls for the way she looks and dresses, Medora is not one to cave in to peer pressure; but there's a limit for everyone. So when young Medora starts having dreams of a place from her childhood, she thinks the pressure of everyday life may be pushing her to the limits. When she was little, it was a place called Dream Land, but it is more of a nightmare upon her return. What once was a theme park and magical place filled with laughter and joy is now looming in fear of the evil queen and her daughter's tyranny. With the help of a mercenary, a creature from the forgotten depths of her mind, and a civilization that has long since been forgotten, Medora must be the one to stop the madness in Psitharis and face the madness of her own reality at the same time. Both worlds are perilous for the brave heroine, but she can rise above that, can't she?
