Run faster. Hide quicker. Get caught and he was screwed. Twenty minutes left. Twenty bloody minutes till daybreak. He wasn't sure if he was going to make it. Run. Hide. Survive. Easier said than done when what's hunting you is smarter than you are. (This is my first attempt at writing something properly, and the chapters I will be publishing are far from their finished form. I will be adding concept art for how I image some of the things in the story as I progress. Yes, I know a large part of how people read a story is visualised in their own mind, although format wise I very much feel that this story would better be done as a graphic novel rather than a traditional book.) Any feedback is appreciated. If you like what I've written so far, please let me know which parts you have enjoyed them most, how you feel the story flows along etc.

Veronica is a computer genius, who doesn't always obey the rules. When she gets thrown out on to the abandoned streets of what used to be America, she meets Sebastian, who is handsome, kind, and mysterious. On a quest to save the world she meets betrayal, mystery, and adventure. *** Pain shoots across my stomach. I look down and see blood spill out. I grasp my stomach. Sebastian still stands over the man with the eye patch. "Um Sebastian," I squeak. I start to fall, but he catches me before I hit the ground. He sets me down gently and takes off his jacket pressing the cloth to my abdomen. "You're going to be fine," he says picking me up, and he starts speed walking the direction we were heading. I hear him say something, but I don't know what. Everything is getting dim, and my ears seem like they're underwater because everything sounds muffled. The world gets darker and darker until it finally goes black. *** Authors Note- I hope my story brightens up your day, and gives you something to enjoy. Thank you for reading. Sorry if there are some mistakes this is the first draft. I hope you enjoy.
