Running as fast as my legs could travel , I ran down the paved road with the one street light that barely shined above. Taking a quick breath I kept going feeling my mouth becoming dry with the rush of cold air and my burning lungs from breathing so heavily. I kept going knowing the predator was not tired nor giving up behind me.
I felt an ounce of hope until I fell on the cement from being tackled by a heavy force. its over I thought to myself feeling uncousious from an head impact I took from the fall I prayed until a sudden darkness took over me. Never have been passed out before I thought I died.
