Growing up, Kamryn's mother taught her to stand alone, not to fall into the usual games boys play, and to work hard for anything she ever wanted. But what happens when even her mother tells her to let her guard down and enjoy her life? Kam was like any little black girl watching her mother struggle to pay bills and provide on her own, but when she seen her mother get married to her step-father, she seen her mommy in love and vulnerable. She seen how a man was supposed to love and treat a woman, but can she show the same vulnerability to experience love? Most of all, if she allows herself to love him and show him that side she's never shown any man, the question is, is he the right man?
