"I don't understand. Why did this have to happen?" I asked. I pulled my legs up to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. Ethan stood walked over and bent down in front of me and took my hand. "I'm sorry, about everything, what happened to Max, you getting kidnapped but Natalie and almost being killed. I'm sorry for it all." He said. I wrapped my arms around him and cried. I hated it. I hated showing my feelings to him. But I couldn't help it, he was my mate, and I loved him.
