17 year old Jessica lives life trying so hard to wake up and make it through the day. She lost her mom when she was 3 for reasons she doesn't yet know. Her brother Lance is 23 and doesn't live at home, but is like a life saver to teenage Jessica. Although their relationship has many flaws, they're close, and that's all she asks for in a family like hers. Her Dads not a good role model for the two of them. He's constantly bringing different women home and drinking ALOT. Although he provides them a roof and food to eat, sometimes being surrounded by drunks is worse than what it seems.
