Annabeth finally let her mom get to her and she broke up with Percy. He was heartbroken but he understood and they stayed friends. Pipers story isn't as easy. Jason told her that "there just isn't a spark anymore and I'm done with you." Well that broke her heart. She goes to her, what seems, only friend. Percy.
