After winning the Kalos League and keeping their promise, Ash and Serena continue their journey together. From new regions, to new Pokemon, to new battles and new experiences. Whatever lies ahead, they don't know, but they will face it together. This is a sequel to my Our Promise one-shot (which you can read if you'd like for some extra exposition but it's not required). I kept looking over it and I saw more potential in it, but instead of going back to that story, I decided to keep it a one-shot and make the sequel a multi-chapter story. On their journey, they'll learn how difficult the road to success can be, and what a terrible conspiracy is lurking in their region. With their ambitions challenged and their lives threatened, they'll need to pull together and outdo each other to achieve their goal. The story features material from the video game, anime and manga. But there will also be a lot of new stuff, making this adventure take place in its own unique universe. Some of the license's characters will undergo different development, while others will remain true to familiar territory. Several serious topics will be tackled (but not too violently).
