Oscar Calypso Ashworth is simple. With an astronomer and neurosurgeon as parents, he never let science blind him from the truth, his truth. He believes in fate, love at first sight and that everyone in the universe, through some random equation, has a soul mate. But Xochitl Illiana Norwood thinks differently. Being the realist daughter of two dreamers, she doesn't believe in such things. Just because that in her opinion, they're overrated and people will simply meet someone, like them, use them for the purposes of the next generation and then live on, expecting nothing more. In this case, Oscar was right. The two will meet and at first, barely speak to each other most of the time. But at that point are their paths already tightly intertwining. Until they merge and the two actually begin to understand each other. The question is, what effect will they have on each other's beliefs and could they change? Will their paths ever stay one or will there be a fork in the road where they disband? Fate is a funny old thing, isn't it?
