A land where things aren't as they seem. A kingdom with secrets untold, a town where new faces appearing seem dangerous, a once glorious knight betrayed by his kingdom. The descendants of legendary heroes must rally together to take on a corrupt Empire. The story involves the controversy of different events, such as soldiers questioning while they have to commit horrible acts just because a king orders it. Or the fact that the legendary heroes might not be exactly who they were made out to be...has magic, fighting, supernatural events and makes you question things in the real world that might relate. Whose side is for justice, who is for evil...and most important of all whose side will you go for. Prologue isn't that great, i wasn't exactly sure where i was going with the story when i made it, so i kind of rushed...but i promise it gets better

I glare at him, yanking at the bonds. He laughs softly. "Oh princess, you're so delicate. Do not struggle, we wouldn't want you to break, would we?" He whispers. I snarl at him but he's right, I'm sick and weak at the moment and the cold rain isn't helping matters. I turn away, coughing and choking on blood, but swallow it quickly, not wanting anyone to know my state. He smirks slightly. "Why are you so cruel?" I ask curious at his behavior. In the Castle I was kept away from the outside world by my parents, who told me of the dangers that lurk in it. However the servants and the cooks, who lived outside the protective wall of the Castle, always seemed like good people. "Cruel," he scuffs. "I am not cruel. Your kind is. Sitting in your castle, while families starve, homes burned to the ground because the blasted taxes are too high to pay. Cruelty, my dear Princess, is a word you and your family are all too familiar with." His words felt like a slap in the face. He can not be speaking truth. 500 years ago, not one soul could find peace from the wars raging between realm's power hungry rulers. To save the realm from complete self-destruction, the Gods made mankind a promise: Whoever can make peace between themselves shall bring about a blessing on the realm for a dozen generations. And so it was. 14 aging Kings of the western coast made peace and formed 3 empires. 11 ambitious Dukes arranged marriages to form 9 new kingdoms. 8 proud Lords of the lake settled their feuds and divided the lakeside. 4 greedy Masters of the mining colonies established the mining confederation. 3 holy Priests united the true worshipers to found a ministry governed state.
