Percy was dead. He wanted to stay dead, but fate had other plans. Zeus killed Percy because he was too powerful and Poseidon could not save him. Only 30,000 years later will Percy be needed to fix a problem, a war. Fates brought Percy back so he could fix everyone's guilt and sorrow. Annabeth found someone else. Someone who won't die.
