Emerson Castell loves facts. Enjoying the how and why of everything, she never fails to let her obsession seep into every aspect of her life, including her relationships - or lack thereof.

Leo Caruso is no stranger to a busy social life, but after his emotionally absent father ships him off to live with his grandparents a few states away, peace and quiet is all he craves. His plans are simple: survive senior year and never see this town again afterwards.

Until the curly-headed encyclopedia enters his path with a proposition to change his life - and maybe hers too along the way. Except Emerson's big idea never said anything about love...and their lonely hearts start falling fast.

Jax Ezra Miller is an 18 year old British boy. At school he is always quiet at works hard for his education. He lives together with his father in a small semi detached house just in town. His mother died when he was a few months old, suicide. Until the age of eleven Jax lived quite a normal life, one day things took a turn, his father became abusive towards him. Why? because Jax found a photo of him and his mother that he had never seen before. From that moment his father said that she committed because she was unhappy and depressed after Jax was born. But why was she smiling so brightly then, if he was the reason she died? Louise Hanna Schmid is a 17 year old half Swiss and half Belgian girl born and raised in England. When her mother got a new job her parents decide to move to a new city, a new start. Something Louise was actually really happy about. After a difficult time at her last school she can't wait to start over again and hopefully make some new friends. Well easier said than done, trusting people was something she struggled with a lot. But when she eventually meets the right people, trusting became very easy. Her dream came true, true friends and maybe something more.
