White is for the innocent, for someone with no major flaws. Children would be White. Blue is for the kind, for someone that had made the normal flaws but none that would damn them to hell. Nuns would be Blue. Red is for the 'evil', for someone wit a vendetta against someone or someone's. People in jail or people with grudges are usually Red. Yellow is for people who know who they are or think they know. Yellow people are usually teenagers who will either become White or Red. I am yellow, my mom is blue, my father is blue, and my best friend is blue. This is my story.

The canvas symbolizes the mind. A white canvas is a healthy, normal functioning mind. The colors that get painted on are different emotions. But no matter how much paint is on that canvas, it is still a white canvas underneath. Now when it is a pure black canvas, it is a mind that is tortured.
