The "L" Word
I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. In the year 1970 on October fifteenth, after being outed as gay by his religious homophobic family and ridiculed by the people in his town, twenty two year old, Castiel Novak decides to take his own life inside of his own home. Skip forward to the year 2015 on October second, twenty five year old, Dean Winchester moves into the same house Castiel once owned. He doesn't believe it when people tell him there's something off about the house but all of his disbeliefs fly out the window when he meets a specific man who may or may not have been living in the same house as Dean for a while. Dean has always had a rivalry with some fellow celebrities, but nothing compares to his hatred for Castiel Novak. The two just don't get along, and they're always in each other's way. However, when a huge deal that could boost Dean's career comes up, he is forced to take it, landing him a job with none other than Castiel himself. The real concern is whether he can finish the movie without killing Castiel first, which he very highly doubts.Complete
