Most live in government facilities with other mutants. Some are politicians, or members of EMD, Elite Mutant Division, a branch of the millitary.

Everything changes when a supposedly normal young girl named Theodora discovers a powerful ability. Her normal life consisting of anxiously waiting for letters from her brother the soldier, and his best friend Jason, keeping her relationship with Jason a secret, and working as a healer, is taken from her, when she's whisked away to the capital. There she will become the countries sweetheart, a target of assasination, the object of jealousy, fascination, and obsession. It seems that everyone she meets, including gorgeous, mysterious, telekinetic Emmett, has a hidden agenda, or plans for Diana.

Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet.
