In the year 2018, Magic has thrived as way to protect humans from war beasts known as Genwas(lit.meaning manifested). Over the last few years humanity had advanced the magic 2x times more powerful by experimenting on the genwa, forming a system called Genwa tamers( special contracted magic users who wield similar strength to that of the genwa). Now resting on Kasumi-jima(a fictional man-made island connected by a sea bridge to mainland Japan), the Tahara brotherhood train all kinds of students willing to learn magic. However their so called good intentions hangs in the balance when the J.IG.A (The Japanese Imperial Genwa Army) and Stationary Police (S.P.) interfere with the brotherhood's true plans.
Naohiro Matsuki and his childhood friend Kouga Masamune have lived their days in the Tahara brotherhood research facility(acts as an orphanage and a prison) and are about to be taken where they receive the treatment of becoming a genwa tamer. But just when it becomes their turn to take the exam, something unknown to both Nao and Kouga presents itself to the brotherhood, resulting in many deaths and allowing the JIGA and SP to usurper the Tahara brotherhood.
Resulting in a new world order that was to fight for humanity's sake in winning against the Genwas.

After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. When magical beasts cross into Japan through portals, magical huntresses (and some magical huntsmen) are there to slay them. Consisting of a group of teenagers and young adults working semi-independently under the guise of the Protection and Research Agency, they fight day in and day out for a variety of reasons, using special rings to transform and gain weapons to use in their battles, for which they get paid for each magical beast they kill and bonuses if they save anyone attacked by them. One particular magical huntress, the sword-swinging orphan Ruka Kishio, is asked to join a small group of these hunters led by the charismatic Hana Miyashita, who herself wields a katana and is descended from former nobility, after Hana sees Ruka easily kill a beast by herself while on lunch break from school. Ruka, a girl with a troubled and at times traumatic past who usually fought alone, accepts after barely losing a sword duel to Hana. She soon finds herself bonding with the other members of the Fox Knights, in particular their second-in-command and only boy Yoshiro Arikawa despite the two of them frequently arguing, and she also finds herself becoming its third-in-command and primary trainer as they battle magical beast after magical beast. However, Hana has deeper ambitions to restore the honor of her family name, and she aspires to attain power by any means necessary. Can Ruka help Hana with her dreams, or will she be swept up in them? On the 18th of January in year 2149 the NOA Company released the VRMMORPG Kingdom of battles. It was supposed to be a sensation, something that the world has never seen before and that was why people all over Japan wanted to get it. Natsumi Miketsukami was always an unusual girl, with really bad luck. She was never interested in normal things, she was always obsessed with video games and it was like she didn't even live a life away from her computer. And an awesome gamer like her just couldn't stay without the Kingdom of battles, the most amazing video game that was ever created. It was different from the usual video games, where the players just pressed different buttons on their keyboards. In the Kingdom of battles, a world full of weapons, magic and fights, the players actually lived the game and were able to rely only on their abilities. Natsumi was amazed when she entered the Kingdom of battles for the first time. She was interested in the completely new virtual world that was ahead of her, just waiting to be discovered.
