We had ten days -- ten days to prepare for what we knew could be our last few days. We were put in an arena to fight each other; to the death. First, the wooden wall keeping us from the electric wall will be burned down, and then the electric wall will be turned off and taken down, leaving us completely unprotected and free to do whatever we'd like with the other teams.

You see, the Walls was an idea at first, before each territory leader agreed on it. They thought it'd keep the peace and quiet neutral between each territory. But, they were wrong. The Walls just made everyone furious; more than they actually were. People were now, instead of being picked out of the group, volunteering to go into the games just so that they could kill each other.

Living the Homestuck Life by _reinaah_
48 parts Complete
Based off of the webcomic created by Andrew Hussie, this story takes place on an average world where four teens lived average lives. In the hot city in Texas - Houston, Texas, these four teens will find out that their average lives are no longer ordinary. The fourth wall has been wrecked and these four teens' world has collided with the world of Homestuck. Fictional characters that were created by Andrew Hussie now live in the average teenagers' world. Thinking that it was all fun and games, the teens never felt so wrong. Not believing in the consequences of colliding with a dangerous universe, these teenagers will have to fight for their lives as their world is coming to an end. It is better to try to expect the unexpected, but how unexpected is the "unexpected"? The occurring strings of fate tie these teenagers together in this long tale. These adolescents from the average world will face challenges like trying to find answers behind closed doors, trying to find their true potential, and trying to find their right places. Can Rebecca, Vanessa, Angela, and Spencer be able to beat not only the enemy, but themselves? This tale will be something that a fan will never have dreamed of! Can this all be something that a fan would expect? Can the four kids be able to live the Homestuck life? They will not be expecting a really, agonizing long day! -Reader is Advised- Warning: there will be gore, action, and some dramatic scenes that will be written in this story! Some cases may be quite disturbing in future chapters! This is a PG-13 to R-rated fanfiction! In addition, I do understand that there is grammar mistakes and other errors in the writing. All are not intentional! **Discontinued**
The Virus Within (Original rough draft) by CrystalScherer
144 parts Complete
Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character. This book has a slightly darker outlook at the beginning than my usual stories, but it has some humor further along. Definitely not a horror story, although it has its share of action. 4 updates a week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday! Copyright April 2017. All Rights Reserved. Readers may not copy, alter, or steal this story. Fanfictions are allowed to use my *world* and *zombie ranks* as long as credit is given.

A sword drops to the ground in the middle of the arena... everything is quiet as the crowd stares at the two men in the middle of the ring. One male with strawberry blonde hair stands over a blonde male, a sword pointed to his throat. Both stared at each other expectantly, waiting for the other to make a move. "I'd like to make a compromise. " The strawberry blonde finally spoke. The blonde eyed him, trying to ignore the blade near his throat. "What kind of deal?" The blonde tried to move backward, but the strawberry blonde grabbed his arm, and slowly pulled the blonde up, blade still at his throat. "Let's rule together. With our skills, no one would ever dare to mess with us." The strawberry blonde let go of the blonde, only to hold his hand out. The blonde stared at the hand, his mind racing. Ruling together? Definitely not what he expected to happen when he woke up. Then again, he didn't expect to be the one on the ground either. The crowd watched, both sides quiet. Some spectators hoped he would say no, in fear that the kingdom would become corrupt and unjust. Others hoped he would say yes, to end this 15 year war. Then, the silence was broken with one word. "Deal." ---------------------------------------------------- Months passed as the two males ruled together. The people lived in fear, each day filled with fights and terror. No one was safe and no one could protect themselves. Until another male rode into the kingdom, an odd blue mask over his face...

"I need to talk to you Elly" "Why?!" "I know that you're my mate" I laughed sarcastically. "What?! Are you trying to make fun of me again like you did two years ago?" I saw everyone flinched at that and Drake had this look of hurt. "I apologised Elly! Please give me a chance. We're mates after all" he pleaded. "We. Are. Not. Mates" I said angrily. "Do I smell like your mate?" I questioned knowing he had no answer for that. "You're hiding it" "Really!" I looked surprised but that made Drake angry. "Let's go for sparks then" he tried to grabbed my hand but Josh pushed me behind him. "Are you trying to touch someone else's mate, Alpha?" Josh asked. "Josh!" Others shouted and Drake growled loudly, his eyes turning black. And he looked at me with those eyes. "Just remember Elly! I asked you nicely" with that he turned and stormed out of the library, others following him behind. ________________________________________ Elly was a quiet and smart girl who had a promising future as a doctor. 50 parts Complete

Dream was thrown into a game of life or death. Only one person could survive, only one person could come out of the bloodbath with their life. The rules were simple. Save yourself. Don't care for anyone. Don't die. But he couldn't follow the rules anymore. Because George was there, thrown into the arena just like him, set to die, or watch everyone die around him. And Dream couldn't let him die. Even if it meant sacrificing himself.
