Trapped under their wrath, Brae is physically and verbally abused each day of her life. Her parents, Rachel and David Ellis, expect her to be just like her sister. Evangeline is a tall, beautiful, blonde-headed girl with extreme intelligence. She is attending one of the best colleges in the United States to become a sales manager. However, Braelynn wants to be different. She wants to help people and make improvements in her city. She isn't as beautiful and talented as her sister. She is always put down and beaten for making mistakes. Her boyfriend, Liam, was set up by her parents to "improve her personality". Everyone around her is slowing throwing her deeper into depression. Each mistake made is another beating. All she wants is to be free.
