Fifty years after a war that annihilated 1/3 of the planet's usable landmass, the surviving nations have allied together and begun to fully recover from their devastation. Throughout the war, many brutal and painful experiences occurred, most of which for the members of the Alistasian nation. There are roughly two thousand pure-blooded members of the former country left. Jason Finch is one of these lucky, or unlucky, descendants. His life on the verge of being an adult is normal, though he does not have many people he refers to as friends, the ones he have are close and trusted people. Among those he cares about is his sister from a family he left behind when he was young.
As Jason goes and lives the life of an independent teen on the verge of manhood, he thinks everything is going alright for himself. After getting dragged to a party by one of his close friends, Jason runs into a startling sight. Crashing into the ground from the air above was a metal box, about the size of a coffin. The futuristic object sprays smoke around all sides as it appears to re-pressurize itself to the ground, and inside is a dark haired girl. With police nearing the scene, Jason makes the reckless decision to remove the girl from her container and bring him to his apartment.
When she wakes up, the story truly starts rolling. As the two move through the struggles of the last year of school and being adults, wheels that had begun turning as soon as Jason met the girl take off. Through the arrival of a new world power, and the beginning of a new war, Jason makes decisions that could change the shape of the world for years to come, all because of a friend he made on accident.
This story is a rewrite of my two earlier attempts at this same tale. Some things have changed, but as a result I think this is possibly the best rendition there will be. I'll try to update every other week, but being a senior in high school is difficult. PM me if you have any questions.
"Trust you? Are you kidding? I think it should be pretty evident to you that we don't trust you."
"Henry, I would like to speak to you alone." Cyrus says, now ignoring Nolan.
My father shakes his head slowly, "if you want to talk say it here. I'm not going anywhere alone with you. Not until we have some answers." Cyrus doesn't budge, clearly not willing to talk infront of us all. "Alright, everyone pack your bags we are leaving in the morning, and we are taking that car. If you want to try and stop us, just remember you're the ones that trained us," He finishes, dramatically flicking the safety off his gun and holding it at his side.
