Duncan Jones is a bright young scientist with a passion for inventing. But he works just a bit too hard. When his buddy Lewis tells him to go on a vacation, he get's slightly delayed, and meets someone unusual. 

The main antagonist in this story is Israphel, just so you know. Scratch that, if you read the up to the chapter, 'Israphel's Come' you will know something about him.
