Mason is a 16 year old boy who wakes up to find he's been captured by a mysterious man who plans to do multiple tests on him. Mason doesn't understand what these tests will help or what they are, but he knows one thing: he has to get out of there. He escapes the lab and finds some of his old friends he met in the Scorchlands who also must escape. Will they get away from the mysterious doctor? Or will they suffer a terrible fate?
