Miscommunications in the Weight Parade

Body positivity is important. For everyone. However, this detail is often lost in the Weight Parade of people that will condemn the thin in order to make others happy. This poem is to relate with those that feel like body positivity doesn't include them.

People at school would always make fun of me, push me until fall, threatening me and at home its worst my stepmother and her three demons would physically abuse me. Rita becomes strict with her eating, everyday the number of calories she eats gets lower and the amount of time she does cardio gets higher. She practices of managing her starvation by distracting it and never catches a break on the scale. Nobody is aware of it, it was something Rita doesn't want her friends or family to know, hiding her body from them didn't last long. Her mother noticed the dramatic weight change on her body. She tries to help her get back to her eating and tells her many times that she's "perfectly skinny" but nothing works. Her mother puts her foot down as Rita started to get ill, her mom takes her to a mental health hospital. She deals with consequences from her nurses and other patients.Terminé

Her weight. Her life. She may have a slightly unhealthy relationship with food, but she's fine. At least, that's what she tells herself. Then he comes along - the one she swore she would never let in again. His mind is an enigma. But maybe he's not as bad as she thought. Or maybe he's even worse, she can't decide. As their senior year progresses, secrets become harder to keep in the dark. She's losing control. And so is he. But sometimes losing control is a good thing.
Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear.
