Pit is set free for a tournament series called "Super Smash Brothers." He meets all new friends, most of which are human. One named Link asks for his hand and the story unfolds.

With the help of Like's friends on the Light team, Tier's friends on the Dark team, the two brothers will search for a way to triumph along with the power of the goddess of light, Palutena, and her faithful commanding officer, Pit. As lives are unfortunately lost, will Like and Tier be able to save Skyworld from the deadly threat? - (The °s mean the point of view is changing. Reluctantly, Pit goes to the Underworld with Palutena's help, and investigates. Due to what seems to be bad luck on the angel's part, he runs into some trouble while in the realm of souls, and just when he thinks this may be the end for him, he is saved by someone he would never expect to heroically save him at the last moment. Dark Pit, his "evil" clone is there too. The two angels, while currently stranded in the Underworld, have an interesting conversation that eventually leads to... A love confession...?

The routine is as it always is, wake up and get your meals in, then do your fight or two for the day! As Mario is the replacement for the actual host, Master Hand, everything is running perfectly. That is, until it all starts with a certain incident that Link can twist and turn against the other fighters. Who is stronger? Link, or Pit. Perhaps they are destined for each other? Only time will tell, as these opposite heroes have many external and internal conflicts. Link, the hero who barely, or never talks. And. Pit, the hero who always talks.
