Oh gosh! I can't believe I'm actually going to write this down, in my dad's family book no less! Ok whoever picks this up will either hate me or hate me. I can't ever see anyone caring for me. Well...besides my husband, Sam. Even though I don't know why he loves me. I guess it's the curse of the heart. Gosh, I don't know what I'll ever do without him, without him I probably would've given up a long time ago. Whoa, guess I'm rambling, better start from the beginning. This is gonna be a depressing story. If anyone thought it would be a type of story with a happy ending, think again and turn away. Read at your own peril. There I warned you, now you can't sue me!

Hello fellow readers! My name is Kate Elmstone. "Wow such a generic name" some of you are probably thinking. And no Kate isn't short for anything just plain old Kate, deal with it. My psychotic creator gave me this name. "But Kate, why is she a psychopath?" some of you may ask, well just listen to my story. If I could,  I would go into her world and force her to change my story right before killing her. Well... maybe not kill her since I'm part of her *shivers*, but until she publishes this I have to rely on her. Which sucks! I never had to rely on anyone and now I have to rely on her. Since you still didn't put this book down, which by the way ,if you found this book how did you do it? I put a number of safety spells on it so no random person can pick it up, no offense reader. Anyway if you don't put this book down just to challenge me its your funeral. Listen I might need your help later, it could be a matter of life or death for your world too.
