She's 15 years old and has to cope with nightmares, bullies at school, and her life in general. Moving doesn't make things any easier, as her new environment doesn't bring her the peace she hoped for. Her dreams keep haunting her. There's this sweet guy in her class who at least makes her dreams a little sweeter. But dreams are just dreams, and reality sinks in. She has to keep dealing with the harshness of life. All of a sudden her dream man appears in reality, making her think she's completely losing her mind.

Her mother was the reason for the monster she had become - according to her. As her story unfolds, she reveals the trauma and abuse that led her down a dark path, including her connection with a friend named Ava.
