In a future not too far from ours exist the gifted children, those named Children of the Stars, the so-called Superpowers.
The government hunts them down, the people fear them, yet some worship and revere them as Gods. Most have been imprisoned, gone rogue, or are working with the world's governments as weapons to use in war. All but one.
David Ravlon, the one able to warp time and space itself around him. But, he has yet to realize his power and yet to awaken his hidden gifts.
Read on to follow his adventure as David unlocks his powers, fights against the government, and is declared a Rogue Power along with others he finds along the way.
NOTE: Though his powers seem very overpowered, there are counters to them and he isn't AS powerful as you'd think.

Hybrid: The Awakening
Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Barry's life
Two people fall in love in unlikely circumstances. They have a lot of psychological issues and mistrusts in the order of things to prevent them from finding themselves and each other. I am a reader of crime novels and hard science fiction almost exclusively, and yet this story, which I have been writing for a long time, is a love story, I can't explain it even to myself. The characters will have to work through hardship and evolve to be able to surrender to the magical things around them and the flow of the universe and the love of other people. This story still is a work in progress, it has holes and it is to be continued

Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana."
