What president Coin talked about before president Corolianus Snow's execution became real. The Symbolic Hunger Games.
Katniss and Peeta found their way back to eachother and found solace in each other's losses.

Now Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have to take the train. For the last time to the Capitol to be mentors for President Snow's granddaughter, Pearl Snow and her cousin, Rock Snow.
But, since the most of the victors died in the war, there's not enough mentors for the kids. Which means voluenteers.
Gale, decides to jump on the train for the first time, to try get Katniss back.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: pretty much all of this story is from Gale's perspective. and it doesn't have a Gale x Katniss relationship, just friendship. I think that the end of Gale's story was unfulfilling.
