the funny story of quicksand and his love for opal. He goes through funny stages while trying to impress opal. Quicksand also has to deal with his two sisters, fangs and sharp tail. He also has his food stolen from him during feeding time. Meanwhile the berksters are on the loose and are looking for the furys. Quicksand's family gets trapped by the dragon trappers and are sent to viggo and ryker. Opal is later trapped by the hunters and its up to quicksand to save his love and his family.
