Brandon is ordered by Monica to kill Scarlet but before he realizes it he is under Scarlet's spell. Brandon was forcefully serving Monica after his previous master, Monica's mother's death. Brandon is a vampire and yes the were many vampires roaming around the city at dawn. Half of the citizens of the forgotten island, Immortallia are Vampires. Immortallia has half humans and half vampires living peacefully together. As if!

When Zack notices that Huro is acting suspicious on afternoon after sport, he follows Huro into a forest nearby the school. It's then that he finds out that Huro is a wolf cross vampire hybrid and that he is actually the heir to the throne like him.
