Who is Oliver to Vanessa? A partner? A friend? A fellow survivor? The answer is all of the above. Lian Yu, Mandarin for purgatory, was the name of the island Vanessa had been marooned on for 3 years alone. She came to thhe island alone and left the island alone. At least that is what she told everyone once she had returned. What she forgot to mention is that there were indeed other people. Oliver which, was among one of them.
After a troubled past and damaging experiences Vanessa attempts to make ammends with Oliver and join forces with him in his vigilant acts.
