Michael can't be moved. Not literally of course-he just isn't used to feeling and/or reacting. This didn't use to bother him; on the contrary he considered it a trait of a mature and interesting person. When he's practically forced to move from Nottingham to the Brooklyn area and finish his last year of school there, he decides to swallow his frustration and not fight against his parents' decision. In his new school circumstances bring him to realise certain things and accept his feelings-accept that people SHOULD feel angry and upset and lonely and happy to the point of tears. A few people (Panda, Cassie, Jake and of course the ever grumpy Olive) will help trigger emotions he hasn't felt before (or hasn't allowed himself to feel)and all in all shit will go down. On one hand they have the immense pressure of the school final exam and on the other hand they're filled with nostalgia. They're about to close one chapter of their life and step into another one. The story starts on the last day at school. Coming to school together for the last time, sitting together for the last time, having lunch together for the last time, bunking classes together for the last time, getting scolded / punished together for the last time. All of these combined create an environment where the students are completely immersed into enjoying their final day at school. They'll be leaving the school soon. They'll become the past tense while a new batch takes their place and a new future waits for the present one to become past. So, everyone's busy making one last memory. Some eager to bid farewell to their friends, some taking one last shot to propose to their crushes or some maybe just want to get it over with. Overall everyone's busy trying to make their ending(of school life) a happy ending. But the pursuit of a happy ending isn't always happy. Complications are very real things. This book will probably be under constant editing, similar to Teammates With Benefits. Again, the schedule of these football (American football) games will not be the same as it is in real life. In real life, college football ends in January, but in this book, games will go until May. This is most likely not going to be the only sequel/spin off I write off of Teammates With Benefits. I'll see where all the characters are by the end of this book, decide if I want to or am at least motivated enough to write another book with these characters. I most likely will be.
