In 2500 planet Earth,located in the Milky Way was abandoned due to near apocalyptic climate change. Saved once again,by science,the remaining population of around 1000 was evacuated to a nearby planet which was ill prepared for their arrival.
Over 1000 years later,the resilient human species is thriving on their new albeit, different, home. However,humans would not be human without curiosity,and as scientists clamour to understand more about the origin of their species,a space mission including some of the population's best explorers historians,scientists and geologists is underway.
But,Earth may no longer be the beautiful and diverse blue planet that the history books describe,for while the humans are away,Mother Nature will play...

When Mandy loses her job, she thinks she’s hit rock bottom – until her plane is swallowed by a strange storm that sends her and everyone else on board 10,000 years into the future. Have you ever had a dream where you find yourself in an alien landscape with two humanoid monsters staring at you? Me neither. Unfortunately, it happened to me in real life. With no memory of how I got here and no idea how to get back home, my options are severely limited. Even more so because these creatures look after me like it's an Olympic sport. Escaping their grasp is going to be much harder than anticipated. But then again...maybe I don't want to. The world was deemed unliveable in 2025. Humans were moved to space stations in order to survive, looking for a new planet to call home. The year is now 2050, and we still have not found a planet. I was born on this ship but my parents were alive when Earth 'died.' I've been chosen to journey to the planet of Alalea in hopes of finally finding somewhere to live. I never thought I would call this place home until I met him. (Based on the world of avatar. This story and characters are completely original and my own!)
