There are Kings, and there is Anarchy. When an empire is threatened by the rebels who believe justice is owed to their people, will the Prince choose justice for his people, or fight along those that wish to take away their freedom? In the end, Prince Lucas may find that a war is brewing that no man can win...

This story follows two very different social classes, and how hatred of one toward another can spark a war where neither side may claim victory. While Lucas hopes to become a better King than his adoptive father raised him to be, choosing justice over the freedom of his people may not work out as he planned. Though the power he craves may look tempting from a distance, the consequences that follow will shape him into the man his brother and father always feared he would become, and the monster Marceline never wished to meet.
