V(VERGIL) X ORIGINAL CHARACTER Vergil's fall from grace has always been shrouded in mystery and even more so, his time spent as V, the physical embodiment of his humanity. A night spent in passion with the woman he's loved for years unfurls some of the hidden thoughts of the few days prior to the battle with Urizen as well as reveals the hidden emotions he held for her for years. With recounting his time as V, Vergil is able to work through a lot of the feelings he had previously deemed he was unworthy to experience. Having endured the torture of losing her life alongside of the his, whom she loves more than anything, when awakened and freed, Esme continues to dream of that very loss as a reminder of what she perceives as being incapable. Even after being reunited with him and being undyingly loved by him, Esme continues to muse about that time period amongst other mysteries. It is during Vergil's unloading, Esme is able to find what grounds her to the moment and solidify her place at his side as the strong, devoted, and loving woman she is. **This story follows Stay in the same universe. Hi all this is my first attempt actually to write a fanfiction so bare with me and i hope my writing won't suck. Usually inspiration comes from music or tv shows and movies or just general.Therefore we can always use our imagination. Some parts are ofcourse made up. Nothing to do with real life. Anyway this is a Devil May Cry related story with Dante and reader as main characters. The rest of the characters will be added soon but this fic it's entirely based on Dante x OC. My OC is human and exact like Dante (personality i mean) who can keep up with him and their stories are actually the same.One day she decides to go into his shop and meet him and ask for his help.What will it happen? Could she really be his soulmate? Or just another friend? The story is inspired mainly from the events of Devil May Cry 5 and based on a twitter RP with a different plot. I'll try to update parts whenever i'm on my laptop cause i can't write properly from my cell phone. Apologies for any mistakes or spellings. Characters belong to Capcom. Years after the events of DMC5, Vergil and Dante manage to escape the Underworld and seal it from anything powerful from being able to escape. The Sparda Twins make their way back to the shop, and are reunited with Nero, Trish, and Lady. Vergil sees Nero happy with Kyrie, and realizes he can't get Nero's forgiveness after what he did. So what does he do? He starts over, and finds love again. The katana wielding brother settles down with another woman, and has a second son for himself, one he will spend his time with, Y/N Sparda. However, being the Son of Sparda, there were still Demons that slipped through cracks of the Twin's Seal, and broke into the house, attacking the woman before being killed by Vergil. Heartbroken, he finds his son still alive, and in his mother's arms crying. Vergil vows to never let his son experience weakness like he did. He moves back with Dante and Nero, and joins the Devil May Cry Business, all while raising Y/N.
