The Difference Between The Light and The Shadows

A young girl coming to her first apartment finds her new roommate dead on the floor with a boy standing over her in the dark. She later finds herself stuck in a laboratory who performs experiments on the weak until perfected and installed in the stronger ones who are controlled by kill who they are ordered to, otherwise they endure unimaginable torture until they cooperate. During her struggle to escape, the boy she met that one night helps her. While attempting to escape Molly brings up a long lost feeling in Shadow. Hope. But during this Molly learns Shadow's darkest secrets and biggest weaknesses, and before long she's given an offer that to some seems impossible to turn down. To kill Shadow in return for her own freedom. Will she betray Shadow, someone she's risked getting close too? Or will she risk them escaping together?
