Until proven guilty, you are no longer stained. With the things others think, be careful of drowning. There is such a thing as fate, but doom is strounger to hold to. No innocence is real, unless it was dreamed. Unless their flesh though rotting, is still living as they slow their breathing. No i ask for no repentance, i have nothing. Besides the words that glisten, the words that hides.

A place where true love expires, good people get fired and beings are nothing but dust. Where stalkers are heroes, society makes zeroes and madness is not in the crust. Some people are killers, and that's just the pillars of what is essentially rust. When you feel you are mad, but that isn't so bad in a world that is oh so unjust. They'll kill you by car, or from quite afar in a world where all life is fleeting. Don't try to protect, you'll just end up wrecked, for you know their hearts are not beating. They'll kill you my sweet, and not drop a beat, for my story is only just heating. Power means all, even more for the small, but power has a habit of retreating. The bodies mount up, many lives will breakup, as I'm here to just tell a story. Don't look in the hill, though it is quite a thrill, I've heard it can get quite gory. Don't play with the heart, and don't think you're too smart, or you'll die with none of the glory. All are mad from the start, but you played your part, in the world of pure purgatory. Alas look a ghost, be careful you're not toast, you must want to see what I see. Society is ruthless, protection is fruitless, for in madness is when you are free. Perfection is dead, from the wounds we all bled, a cruel fate we did not foresee. While outsiders are safer, if only by a wafer, you can still hear them utter a plea. Now my story is frightening, but oh so inviting, so come now and give it a whirl. I can promise some danger, so don't be a stranger, watch now - we will see it unfurl.

I worked for longer than anyone could imagine... Just for it to come to this... No matter what I do... Nothing is ever good enough. Maybe this is my place in life. Maybe this is just my destiny: Failure. - Gazing into the mind of an antagonist who's drive for success led him down the wrong rabbit hole. A man living in the shadows of a broken world. Though maybe the world wasn't broken. Maybe it was just him all along. Maybe the broken world broke him too, and if everything's broken, it's perfectly fine, right? Mostly following the plot of Spirit Tracks, through Byrne's eyes, and his desperate attempt to gain power for a reason misinterpreted, though probably understandable. I've put my own original turns on this every now and then, as one would probably expect, but it's not romance, none of that hopeless crap. But rather, a thin line of grief and denial. Exchanging one life for another. Of course however, in the end... Is it really Byrne's mind? Or another? It's debatable, depending on how technical you'd want to get... It follows memories, feelings-even conflicting ones. I don't write to impress people, so don't get your hopes up. I didn't start proof reading until after Chapter Four, so prepare yourself. The story, being carried in first person, I tried to put emphasis on one's head. I don't think there's too much drama, I wanted things to at least make some kind of sense... But, alas, everything is just a perspective, for each of us. I don't think I'm right, but I don't think I'm wrong. We don't really know what happened, so I suppose that's the beauty of freedom. We can theorize whatever we want. - If you enjoy my story, don't be afraid to drop a vote. Touch that star, it's free and doesn't cost you anything. (I've rewritten the entire story multiple times over the course of several years... I swear... I think this is the one. This is it. I can feel it in my ancient soul and withering mind. It may not be perfect, but it makes due.)

Have you ever wondered if you were meant to be something greater than what you ended up becoming but, life had other plans for you? Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. They found through meeting eachother the strength to fight on despite being subjected to some of the worst things that can happen to people. When a young man from our world dies doing something his ideal self would have done, he reflects on his life moments before leaving this world.
