Bree Hawk thought Dylan Shaw, psychotic vampire, was dead. He's not.

She begins her freshman year in college with a closed watch on her surroundings since her summer consisted of losing blood, discovering more about where she came from before being adopted, and learning how to handle a wooden stake and Garlic Spray. And Dylan is back. Which should be impossible.

She shot him in the head with wooden bullets.

And so she calls her detective friend, Brendon Stark, to help her with her dead, crazy ex-boyfriend again.

But now the danger has come back with more incubi, vampires, and potential romance between Bree and Brendon? She can barely keep up with the vampire world, even with her mentor Howard Skylark. Should she really bring a boyfriend into the bloody war with fangs?

"THE AFTERLIFE CAN BE A REAL BITCH, RIGHT?" "Henri-" I began, but Henri's hand snatched up mine and squeezed tightly enough to break bones. I bit my tongue to hold back a cry. It was a warning. "Maria didn't say anything about a couple of vampires wanting to meet with her," the green-haired warlock spoke after the area had stilled with electrified silence. I looked Henri's way, and that's really when our situation caught up with me. Wait... "Maria..." I murmured in remembrance, then sent Henri a glare. "Why are we here to see Maria Day? If you don't remember, let me remind you that I killed her friend. Hell, her master. She'll kill me when she sees me." Henri had the nerve to laugh softly. "You're already dead, Antoinette." "Thanks to you. There are other ways witches can hurt vampires, aren't there?" My eyes traveled shortly to the warlocks, Daniel and Zachary, and I shook my head. "She'll burn me alive! I'm not going in there." "You're overacting," Henri said with a dramatic eye roll with a worth of a slap across his face. Lucky for him, I kept my hands at my sides. This night was about to get dangerous... This is Book 3 of The Hunters Saga! 1st draft, so there WILL be mistakes!
