In the aftereffects of the fall of Beacon Academy, Weiss was gone, Blake had ran, and Yang was... not herself. Ruby, along with Jaune, Nora, and Ren, go to change that. The newly formed team RNJR embarks on a journey to bring team RWBY back together while the other members - Yang, Weiss, and Blake - are on adventures of their own. During the time, new allies are made and old enemies become STRONGER. With that one question pops up is: Is there any chance to save Remnant or will the world erupt in chaos?

The year this story takes place in is 2022. In an AU where the Fall of Beacon never happened and the students were able to continue their time normally at Beacon and Summer wasn't dead, Team RWBY is kicked out of Beacon in their third year. After a bit of a ghost encounter and a small increase in ghost sightings across Vale, they decide to do what others won't. Fight the ghosts with tech from Atlas. They form the Ghostbusters and during their time as Ghostbusters, they start to uncover a plot from the once seen as only a myth Salem to destroy the world. So, when the queen of Grimm threatens to destroy the world and all other lines of defense won't do anything especially with Easter on the way, who ya gonna call? I own neither RWBY or Ghostbusters, this is a crossover meant purely for fun

Ruby thought she had everything under control but now she must deal with this mysterious figure who admits to having a past with her mother. How will Ruby deal with this revelation? This story has scenes of action and wild behavior and not a lot of comedy. There's also going to be some dark and creepy moments. The story will have violence and tragedy in it.
