after an horrific car accident claiming his mother and fathers life ,Maurice meets and angel of both the lord and the devil,discovering that he is indeed a descendant of both fearing for his life the angels agree to train him and get him ready for the upcoming war between religions.
There are approximately 4,200 religions in the world many with different beliefs and different faiths many have come and gone except for two and in order to stop this onset of fights the king gods of different places came to have a proposition and a start of war.

Long ago, 4 gods ruled over humanity since their beginning, but after growing bored, they decided to play a game with humanity. Dividing their power into 52 cards that give humans a part of their power, the gods then disappeared leaving behind a prophecy that said one card wielder would rule over them. The rest of humanity then began hunting down the 52 card users with extreme violence, but since a card would randomly pass to another person in the world, they began imprisoning them. Years past, now in modern-day, a boy hurt and scared because of the hunt for the card wielders, blames the gods and so the Devil bestowed upon him their card.
