In 19-year old Willow Latavian's futuristic  society, America is divided into two sectors, Salaria and Faralin. When Willow's parents were killed at war by the Salarians when she was ten, she vowed to get revenge on their people. Now war has once again broken out, and she has been training in the Faralinian army since her parents died. She's ready for the revenge she's craved for nine years, but after meeting Colin, a charming, bright, handsome Salarian boy, will she be able to fight for what she wants? Or will she end up wanting something completely different?

The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
